Building News

posted by Harbor Shores @ 2:31 PM Thursday, February 11, 2010

As winter usually keeps us indoors for several months, Powell Construction has been hard at work over the winter building the first two homes in Hideaway. Shaded by the canopy of hardwoods and tucked along the river’s edge, Hideaway will feature views of both wooded fairways and picturesque marshlands. When completed, Hideaway will boast an enviable collection of Cottage Homes and a private recreation center, highlighted by The River Clubhouse, swimming pool, and riverside dock for kayaks and canoes. Powell Construction is right-on schedule to grand open the models in early summer. The two-story Serenity floorplan will offer 1,736 square feet of living space and offers four bedrooms, three baths and a two car garage. The second home being built is the two-story River Haven which will offer 1,896 square feet of living space along with four bedrooms, three baths, and a two car garage.

Cottage prices at Hideaway range from the mid $300,000’s to the $600,000’s for homesite and cottage. Stay tuned for the announcement of our model grand opening at Hideaway as the summer season begins to arrive.

In The Know

posted by Harbor Shores @ 2:10 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2010

The Golf Club at Harbor Shores is scheduled to open all 18-holes by July, and we are excited to announce that Jack Nicklaus will help kick off the official Grand Opening in August. It is too early to share anything more, but we wanted you to be the first to know.

If you are looking for information on an Annual Pass or to schedule an outing, please contact Joen at (269) 927-4653.

Even though there is still snow on the ground, we are looking ahead with great excitement and anticipation for the Summer of 2010. With construction well underway at Hideaway, the opening of all 18 holes, and continued planning on the marina village along the St. Joseph River, the boutique hotel and spa, it will be another great year at Harbor Shores.

As always, keep tabs on us on our website, Facebook, or Twitter.
