Benton Harbor Organizes City Clean-Up for Earth Day

This Saturday (tomorrow!), the city of Benton Harbor and Harbor Shores Community Redevelopment are combining efforts for a city clean-up

We are seeking volunteers to help pick up trash and pull weeds in the Benton Harbor Main street and Hall Park areas.

Meet at the Dwight P. Mitchell City Center Park at Main Street and Pipestone in Benton Harbor.

The clean-up is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Work gloves and supplies will be provided, and the first 150 volunteers get a free t-shirt.
RSVP at the Harbor Shores Transformation Center (269) 277-5500.

Opening Day!

It's finally here! Opening day for The Golf Club at Harbor Shores is Friday, April 23.

Tee times for April will run from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday-Sunday.
Mondays we will be open from Noon until 6:00 p.m.

Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance by calling our golf shop or booking online. Come on out and join us for a great round of golf on a pristine course!

And don't forget to mark your calendars for four new Community Days that have been added to the previously listed dates of May 11th and May 25th. You can now join us on May 17th, May 24th and July 7th. So grab your clubs and enjoy some great Spring golf!

Three Months Away

The completion of The Golf Club at Harbor Shores is now just three months away. The Jack Nicklaus signature course is part of the $500-million Harbor Shores development project in Benton Harbor.


“We’re at the end of the beginning,” said Wendy Dant Chesser of Harbor Shores Community Development Corporation.

The thing that makes the Harbor Shores Golf Club so breathtaking is perhaps the thing that makes it somewhat controversial—it’s proximity to Lake Michigan.
