Fall Fun Activities for the Whole Family

As autumn leaves are ever changing, so are the views of Lake Michigan. The Holiday Season is nearly upon us in Southwest Michigan. Many activities and events await your entire family. What might tempt you to come for a visit?


Luminary Festival- Friday, November 20th Dusk-9pm A holiday open house, with more than 800 luminaries lighting downtown St. Joseph. Enjoy a free horse drawn trolley ride, listen to holiday music and stroll the sidewalks, as businesses stay open late to entice you with wonderful gift ideas. Hot cocoa will be served on every street corner you meet. Stop in Harbor Shores Discovery Center for a special treat.

Smooth Jazz Musician Bryan Lubeck- Saturday, November 21st 8pm~ Brian Lubeck returns the area from last summer’s concert and performs unplugged and acoustic at the Box Factory located on 1101 Broad Street in St. Joseph. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

Turkeys Everywhere- Saturday, November 21st noon-4pm~Where did the turkey get its name? What is the difference between a wild turkey and a domestic one? Visit the Curious Kids Museum, in downtown St. Joseph, for a day of turkey talk and crafts.

Black Friday at Lemon Creek Winery -November 27th noon-8pm~ Extended holiday hours for your shopping convenience. Great deals on wine and items in the gift shop where you can get something for almost everyone on your list. Make holiday shopping easy and fun at Lemon Creek Winery.
